Sanitation & Recycling

Every June, the Village hosts a town wide clean up day. Dumpsters are available for Village residents to bring metal, glass, electronics, appliances, trash, etc. for disposal. Donations are accepted to help with the cost of the dumpsters and landfill fees.  Tires are accepted but there is a fee to dispose.

Each May and October the Village participates with Champaign County in recycling events for electronic and household waste. For more information about recycling in Champaign County see the website  https://www.ccenvstew.org/

The Village of Ludlow does not contract with an outside waste management company for solid waste collection and recycling in the Village. Residents must establish trash pick up with the following local companies:
