Water Utilities

The Village of Ludlow is committed to providing safe, high quality water services to our community, while maintaining excellent customer service and environmental conservation.  In response to an aging water treatment facility and increase in the frequency of water main breaks, Village officials made the decision in 2017 to engage Fehr Graham Engineering to plan and design upgrades to the treatment facility, replace failing water mains, and install "smart" meters. The project totaled $2,850,000 and was funded by $1,910,000 in federal grants and $940,000 by revenue bonds.

The monthly rate for water service is $55.00 for the first 3,000 gallons and $0.40 per 100 gallons in excess of 3,000 gallons. The rate includes the costs of water, operations and maintenance, reserves and depreciation, as well as bond and interest. Water bills are mailed on the 25th of the month and payment is due by 5 PM on the 10th of the following month to avoid a late fee.
